Christmas Wishlist 2k13.

Hey ya'll. It snowed today, so I felt like this post was appropriate. Granted, I am probably not getting any of this for Christmas and I know that, but these are a couple things I want, some more than others, and some I'll eventually buy for myself in the next month or two. :)

1. Nume Hairdryer - I actually don't really care what brand as long as it's not Conair. Haha. I told my Mother that this was on the top of my christmas list, so out of everything on here this is probably something I may actually get.

2. Benefit High Brow - I recently watched MissMeghanMakeup do a tutorial and she used this.. It looked like a really great product, that I'll get eventually. :) Though, it'd be tight if Santa got it for me instead.

3. Lady Gaga's The Fame - I got a small bottle of this with one of my 100 perks from Sephora a few months ago, and I love it. I just hate that it's a drip bottle. It's not a roller or a spray, so that sucks - but I love the scent so even though I hate the lack of functionality of the bottle I have, I still make a point to wear it. So, it'd be awesome to get the full size with the spray head.

4. The Wet Brush - I recently watched Rachel Whitehurst's video on the Wet Brush and just.. I want to feel that feel on my hairs. I also told my Mother about this product, so ayyyyyyyyy, maybe! But, if not, whatever, it is 15 bucks, I'll totally buy it.

 These last two are luxury items that I'd never ask for from anyone besides my own pocket!

5. The Siglin boots in wine by Jeffrey Campbell - UGH. There is much want for these. But the PRICE IS TOO DAMN HIGH, YA'LL. Where the sales?

6. Sigma - I have two Sigma face brushes, the flat top and the round top kabuki. But, I'd really like to get either a complete set from Sigma, or just an eye brush set.

I had a really great christmas, and I'm really just thankful for everything my family has done for me and all the nice things they constantly do even when I don't deserve it. They are really amaze balls people.

Also, here's a photo of my stocking that I told ya'll about in the Christmas Tag:

My mom made the one on the far left end that says Donna, that's hers. And she made mine at the very beginning on your right that says Nora. The two small ones in the middle are from her boyfriend's family, and the two red ones are kits my two younger sisters did one year. My mom said she's probably going to break out the sewing machine before next year and make them all big ones as well. There are two not pictured, and that'd be my two older brothers who don't live with us anymore, she also made those. We've had these big stockings since I was like.. I wanna say 4 or 5 years old, I can't remember. It's been awhile.

Thank ya'll for reading my blog and watching my junk :) Ya'll are the best. I'm going to do a mini series of posts starting in a couple of days of my "winter beauty essentials." Each post will be dedicated to a different thing, like one will be eyes, one will be face, and so on and so forth. So, I hope ya'll will be looking forward to that. :)

but spoiler alert, my parents got me a kickass tripod! Haha.

Christmas Eve!

just wanted to share the stop motion film I made of the christmas party I went to last night. :)

Sadly I forgot to take photos with my ugly christmas sweater, but I still have it, so I'll post a good photo of it tomorrow or the day after that. :)

 Stephen got me the new book on Kurt Vonnegut that has all of his letters and old photos in it. I'm beyond stoked about that.
I adore these guys. :)
I really couldn't ask for better friends. They're all equally important to me. I've known all of them since the start. I've been friends with them since I moved here four years ago, and they're honestly the few people I've really kept in contact with and kept being friends with since graduation. I love these guys to bits, seriously.

I'm headed to an "ugly christmas sweater" themed party tonight. So, I'll try to include some photos of that in my Christmas post or some other random post. It'll be super fun. I've been documenting christmas around our house all month, so I'll have a nice collective christmas stop motion to do after actual Christmas Day is over and done with. :)

1. What is your favorite Christmas film?

• Jack Frost! :)

 2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

• I live in Texas, and I actually did last Christmas! Isn't that wild? It was really awesome. :)

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

• At home with my family. :) Back when I was a kid we'd do christmas at our house, then on the 26th drive to Grandma's house like 2 hours away. But, she passed away when I was younger, so that ended.

4. What is your favorite Christmas song?

•  Santa Baby orrrr... Mariah Carey's, "All I want for Christmas is You." 

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

•  I've asked every single year ever since I learned how to talk, but my mom always says no. I think now it's kind of like a joke between us, because I'm 20 years old, and we just joke about it together nowadays. 

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

• Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer, and Vixen. Comet, and Cupid, and Donner, and Blitzen. oh and Rudolph. I legit just sang that whole song to answer this. 

7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

• I think I'm most looking forward to the fact that I was financially able to get everyone really nice gifts this year, so it's going to be awesome to see the looks on their faces. I love giving gifts. I'm also stoked just to hang out with my family and talk shit and just eat our christmas dinner and be all together without any interruptions. 

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

• Real! :)

9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?

• I'd sayyy... My mom's peanut butter candy. They're great. 

10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

• I like both, if I'm being honest. 

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?

• I've gotten a lot of amazing things over the years. My parents are definitely badass. But, I think one of the best things I've gotten was a HUGE painting of a unicorn (I collect them) in a beautiful ornate frame. I got it last christmas, and I love it. 

12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

• New York! Or maybe just back to my hometown in Oregon to visit.. I can't pick.

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

• I'm good... until I get to the corners. I never fold those ends quite right. But, I've gotten to be a pro at wrapping really badly then being able to cover it up with lace and bows and stuff. ;p

14. Most memorable Holiday moment?

•  My mom made our stockings, I'll try to show ya'll in my video of what I got for christmas. Anyhow, they're HUGE, and I remember the first year we got them, my middle brother stuck his head in the stocking and was like, "is that all of it?" Not in a rude way, just in a "wow, that was a lot more than I expected," way. Hahah. I dunno why but that was the first thing I thought of when I read this question. 

15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?

• I've never believed in Santa. Not even when I was LITTLE. My brothers and parents always told me from when I was young that it wasn't real. Which I think kind of sucks now that I'm older, but oh well.

16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?

• I don't make them, so I don't stick to them. ;p

17. What makes the holidays special for you?

• I guess just being able to be with everyone without feeling like they're busy with other stuff. It's like a time where we are all together without any other obligations to honor. I like that feeling.
