LATE POST: Friday Favorites #2 + Snippets Sunday #10

HEY YA'LL. This is just a late as poop Snippets Sunday/Friday Favorites post. I've been busy all dang weekend what with studying and going to shows. But, I did want to make this post just cos I know I'll be busy this week and next week with finals. Today is really my only day to chill out and queue up some posts.

THESE NAILS. I found this on Tumblr and when I looked at the source I was pretty sure it'd been tampered with.. so sorry I don't have a source on this. But, seriously, these nails are magical looking. UGH.

Friday Favorites. :)

I found this on Tumblr and I thought it was a really cute idea.

I got this little plate type thing of Apollo at Goodwill, and plan to use it during my Philosophy presentation. I actually really like it, and plan to hang it in my room when I'm done with it. It's one a brown leather cord, and is extremely heavy.

I have a Thrifted Thursday post that will be up probably tomorrow, this whole construction thing and then going to the State Fair really messed with my posting schedule and stuff. Anyhow, I got some neat stuff, so be ready for that. :)

Good days, good nights.

Hi everyone!

 Here is a stop motion from my Monday. :) Sorry this post is so dang late, but there was some construction stuff going on at my place and stuff like that.

I had a pretty good Monday. I don't have classes on Mondays, so I went out with my friend Robert, then picked up our friend Keren later, and eventually switched cars to ride around with our friend Garrett.

Robert and I hit up the dollar store first.

He got this gun, Star Wars hand sanitizer, and a batman towel. Haha. :)

I got some googly eye sunglasses, batteries for my video camera, and a princess Belle towel.

We got lunch together,

then hit up the park at the lake.








:p









Anyhow, then we picked up some people, ran into some people, went some stores, and eventually ended up at the mall. Which was pretty empty since it was a Monday night. Haha.

 I bought this book.

I stocked up on the Cinnamon incense at Earthbound. I like all of their incense, but recently I tried the cinnamon and fell in love with the way it made my room smell. It's like getting like fifty autumn scented candles and lighting all of them at once. It is so great. :)

 I got this Kudi shirt from HT.

Keren and I went to Claire's while Garrett was filing out an application to GameStop with Robert.
Annnnd, I got these Katy Perry eyelashes and these nails. :) I'll review the lashes if anyone is interested? I've been wanting to try them out for awhile. 

Anyhow, that's what I got. :) I also recently went to the TX State Fair, so I might do a post on that. I also have a review on a natural soap line coming soon.

Weekly Nails.

I've seen a couple bloggers who do weekly nails or weekly whatevers. I've recently gotten back into doing my nails and buying polishes. So, bare with the terrible quality. Haha. I think I'll get better again with a little time.

I got this polish at CVS for a dollar, it is "Little Blue Box," by Color Mates. I like this color, but I also really like the consistency to the polish. I mean, it's not China Glaze, Essie, or OPI, but it goes on smoothly and it dries to really soft sheen. Almost as if someone put on a matte nail polish and added a very, very thin layer of gloss top coat.

The cheetah print, which I'm really sad it is chipped in this photo. I should've taken one right after I did them. But, that is a press on nail manicure. I got that also at CVS and I can't remember the brand name but they were like a buck fifty or so for a set of ten. They are pretty good quality for being that cheap, my problem was that I had never put them on myself before, only on other people. I had a little excess which I folded under and forgot to file off, so while I was doing the dishes it got snagged and ripped the top. :( Besides that nail oops, the print has not shifted positions or even creased.

Hit or Shit wise, I'd say that both of these are hits for their price and the redeeming factors they both have in quality.
